Kevin Kuranyi's agent Roger Wittmann has denied reports that the striker has agreed to join Dinamo Moscow on a Bosman at the end of the season.
The Schalke frontman has enjoyed a prolific season in front of goal this term finding the net 18 times in the Bundesliga.
However the German outfit fear that they will not be able to match more lucrative offers from overseas and speculation has increased over whether Kuranyi will be at the club next season.
Reports had suggested that the former Stuttgart ace was on his way to Russia but Wittmann insisted that was wide of the mark.
"There is no decision taken just yet," he told Spox.com.
"Kevin Kuranyi is a player of Schalke 04 and he is on a contract to the end of the summer, this is all I am able to confirm.
"Reports he has already agreed his future are untrue."
Kuranyi is also thought to have attracted interest from clubs in Italy, Turkey and England with Juventus, Fenerbache and Sunderland monitoring the situation.
