Richard Cresswell has revealed he plans to stay at Sheffield United for the rest of his career.
The former Sheffield Wednesday striker initially joined the Blades on loan last September before making the move permanent in January.
The 32-year-old has impressed during his time at Bramall Lane and, despite having a contract until 2011, Cresswell is keen to extend his deal in South Yorkshire.
"It's been fantastic for me this year; I have loved every minute," Cresswell told the Sheffield Star.
"There was obviously a bit of scepticism before I came after being a Sheffield Wednesday player but I think I have shown the fans I want to be here.
"I've scored a few goals, played a lot of games and would love to stay here for the rest of my career."
