Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has rejected talk linking him with a move for Dundee United defender Garry Kenneth.
Recent reports in Scotland and England have suggested Birmingham were lining up a £1million bid for highly-rated Kenneth.
Kenneth has enjoyed a fine season with United, helping the Tannadice side ensure a top-three finish as well as a spot in the Scottish Cup final.
Blackpool were credited with an interest in Kenneth in the January transfer window and are thought to be keeping tabs on his situation.
McLeish is an admirer of Kenneth, but has ruled out a move to St Andrews for the big centre-half.
"I know of him but there is nothing in it," McLeish told the Daily Record.
