Udinese forward Simone Pepe is refusing to take reported interest from Sunderland too seriously.
Speculation has suggested that the 26-year-old winger features prominently on the Black Cats' summer shopping list.
Pepe, who is a full Italy international, is held in high regard across Europe and would have no shortage of takers should he become available.
He is, however, adamant that he is happy with life at his current employers and has no desire to move on.
The former Roma trainee has also laughed off claims that Sunderland are preparing a €18million (£15.8m) bid for his services.
"My father told me that if an offer like that arrived he would bring me to England on foot!" Pepe said.
"Joking aside, I will talk to the directors after the season is over and discuss the future.
"But I am at home in Udine and I am happy here. I would have no problem remaining here for the rest of my four-year contract."
