Charlton have announced that the loan spell of Gary Borrowdale from QPR has been extended until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old left-back was due to return to Loftus Road this week after his initial month-long deal expired following Tuesday night's League One win over Colchester.
But QPR boss Neil Warnock has allowed Borrowdale to stay on at The Valley until the end of May.
The defender will therefore still be at Charlton if they qualify for the play-offs at the end of the season.
Borrowdale has featured in six games for Charlton, with just one of those fixtures ending in defeat after last weekend's 1-0 loss at Southampton.
