Aruna Dindane has pleaded for the opportunity to play in the FA Cup final for Portsmouth.
The Ivory Coast international has played a key role in Pompey's fairytale run after moving to Fratton Park from Lens on a season-long loan last summer.
However, one more appearance would trigger a £4milllion payment to his parent club and that is money Portsmouth cannot afford to lose given their well-documented financial problems.
Administrator Andrew Andronikou is planning to hold talks with Lens about Dindane's contract situation and the 29-year-old hopes the matter can be resolved.
"I grew up in France watching the FA Cup final and to have the chance to play in one is a dream come true," he said in the Daily Star.
"I only hope that dream will not be taken away."
