Valeri Bojinov's agent admits his charge would love to remain in Italy beyond this season.
The Bulgaria international is currently on a season-long loan at Parma from Manchester City and he is faring well with eight goals to his name so far.
The 24-year-old has been with City since 2007 but a shocking run of injuries has meant he has played less than a dozen games.
His agent Gennaro Palomba admits Bojinov is happy with how things are going in Serie A.
"After years of bad luck it is a pretty happy time for the boy," Palombo told Calcionews24.
"The future? I don't know if the situation has changed since January, when his move to Parma in exchange for McDonald Mariga was virtually a done deal, then the deal wasn't completed.
"I don't know if where City finish in the league will change the outlook for Bojinov, but his intention is to stay in Italy.
"Despite being Bulgarian by birth, Valeri feels Italian because he is here since he was 12-years-old."
Palombo also addressed the issue of potential interest from Napoli.
"The interest of Napoli? I know nothing about this.
"I have not spoken to anyone at Napoli, and I think also Bojinov didn't either.
"It is nice that there is interest from these clubs, if it is true."
