Kevin Kuranyi is not ruling out staying with Schalke next season amid reports he has been offered a contract by Juventus.
The striker's current deal expires in the summer and he has several clubs on his trail from across the continent, with Sunderland among those to have expressed an interest.
The latest reports have claimed that Juventus have offered Kuranyi a four-year contract to move to Serie A at the end of the season.
However, following Schalke's defeat by title rivals Bayern Munich last weekend, the former Stuttgart star feels it is the wrong time to discuss his future.
He is leaving any initial negotiations in the hands of his representatives and is not shutting the door on staying with Schalke.
"My agents are working on things," Kuranyi told kicker-Sportmagazin.
"But there is nothing decided just yet, everything remains possible.
"Currently, it would be the wrong moment to think about offers, we have just lost an important Bundesliga match.
"If the package is right, I can imagine staying at Schalke. Still, there have been no negotiations between me and Schalke."
