Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones insists he has no plans to quit the club after winning his place back in the side.
Jones' future at Boro looked uncertain at the back end of last year after he lost his first-team place to Danny Coyne.
The Australian was left out of the side after coming under fire from some of the club's supporters for some below-par performances.
However, Jones has fought to win his place back under Gordon Strachan, starting the last five games and he is happy to stay at The Riverside.
"I never said I wanted to leave," Jones told the Evening Gazette. "I always just wanted to play and the gaffer and the coaches know that.
"I get my head down and work, but at the same time, I'm not happy if I'm not playing.
"I have got plenty of time left on my contract and I have got no issues about staying.
"I'm more than happy to stay. I'm not looking to get away and I'm just concentrating on playing and helping the team to do well."
