Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben is a major injury doubt for the UEFA Champions League tie against Manchester United.
Robben suffered a calf injury during Bayern's surprise 2-1 home defeat by Stuttgart in the Bundesliga and is a big concern for Tuesday's visit of United.
The Dutch international had been introduced as a substitute early in the second half before picking up the problem later in the game as Bayern surrendered top spot in the table.
He will now undergo treatment in a bid to be fit for the first leg of the quarter-final clash, but Bayern coach Louis van Gaal was pessimistic about having Robben available.
"Maybe it will turn out not to be that bad, but it looks difficult for the match against Manchester," said Van Gaal.
Robben, who joined Bayern from Real last summer, scored in both legs of the last 16 tie with Fiorentina as the German giants progressed on away goals.
