Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies expects to complete the permanent signing of Polish midfielder Radoslaw Majewski.
Majewski has impressed at the City Ground since arriving on loan from Polonia Warsaw last summer.
Forest are keen to keep hold of the 23-year-old and Davies is confident Majewski will be a Forest player next season.
"We have spoken to him and he is very positive," Davies told the Daily Mirror.
"Hopefully, in the next few days, we can agree contract negotiations with him.
"Majewski is a player I have recommended should be signed on a permanent basis.
"I am confident he will be playing for Forest next season and it is up to us keep him here for the long term."
