Birmingham City defender Scott Dann has hailed his team-mates' character in their 2-2 draw with Everton.
Blues were in a disastrous situation early on against in-form Everton, trailing by two goals with just 22 minutes played.
However, Alex McLeish's side fought back superbly thanks to Craig Gardner's second half leveller, extending their unbeaten run in the league to three matches.
Dann believes the result shows the Midlands outfit can go toe-to-toe with the Premier League's better clubs and that they deserve a top-half finish.
"We kept the unbeaten run going, which is important," Dann said.
"We'd said before the game that we wanted to do that and keep getting as many points between now and the end of the season.
"Everton have picked up since the start of the year and have shot right back up the league.
"They're a top team with lots of top players but I think on Saturday we showed we're capable of matching teams like that.
"We've still got to play against good teams and try and get good results like we did against them."
