Lazio goalkeeper Fernando Muslera admits he is flattered by reported interest from Arsenal.
The North London club are understood to be monitoring the Uruguayan shot-stopper.
The 23-year-old joined Lazio in 2007 and has since cemented his place as number one in Rome.
Before joining Lazio he attracted attention from a number of clubs and his form in Italy now means he is again attracting attention.
Arsenal are said to be keen and Muslera admits he is pleased with that.
"It is important that a Premier League club like Arsenal have been monitoring my progress and it motivates me to play even better," he said.
Muslera, who will be going to the World Cup with Uruguay this summer, is reportedly close to agreeing a new four-year deal with Lazio. He has two-years left on his current contract.
