Bristol City goalkeeper Adriano Basso has left the club after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The Brazilian had been a firm favourite at Ashton Gate following his arrival from Woking in 2005 and he made over 180 appearances for the Robins.
However, he had not featured for Gary Johnson's side since late September and was due to be out of contract at the end of the season.
Basso had rejected a deal to stay with City and had been expected to leave the Championship side during the January transfer window.
An agreement has now been reached for the 34-year-old to bring his successful stint with the Robins to an end.
Chairman Steve Lansdown told the club's official website: "Adriano has been a great servant to the club over the last few years and was a key part in our promotion in 2007.
"I'd like to place on record my thanks to Adriano for his service and wish him well for the future."
