Blackpool winger Hameur Bouazza is keen to recover from his ongoing groin problem and make more of an impact over the closing weeks of the season.
The 24-year-old has been struggling with the injury ever since returning from international duty with Algeria at the African Cup of Nations.
He is yet to start a game for Ian Holloway's side in 2010 but is eager to get back into the starting XI and aid the club's play-off push.
"I played a bit with my injury at the African Nations Cup and I thought it was just stiffness in my groin," he said.
"It's obviously a serious injury so I'm trying to get back as fit as possible and hopefully I'll do well for the team when I'm back.
"Hopefully my groin will be a little bit better but I can't wait to play.
"It's not possible to play with a small injury so I need to be fit to play and help the team.
"I just want to finish the season really well with Blackpool to get to where we want and then go to the World Cup and do well over there as well."
