Barnsley goalkeeper David Preece has signed a new contract to stay with the Championship club until 2011.
Preece joined the Tykes last summer on an initial 12-month deal and has made five appearances for the club to date.
He has not featured since September and has largely been providing the cover to first-choice keeper Luke Steele at Oakwell.
The 33-year-old, who had been playing in Denmark prior to joining Barnsley, becomes the latest player to commit his future to Mark Robins' side.
Stephen Foster and Luke Potter both agreed new deals over the weekend, while Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanovic has been offered fresh terms.
