Championship promotion hopefuls Nottingham Forest have raided Peterborough for the loan acquisition of George Boyd until the end of the season.
Boyd has been Peterborough's outstanding player this season but is out of contract in the summer and has said he has no intention of signing fresh terms at London Road.
The 24-year-old was signed by Posh in a Football Conference record transfer of £250,000 from Stevenage three years ago.
Boyd scored 14 goals in his first full season at Peterborough, followed up with 10 last year and is already on 12 for the current campaign.
He qualifies to play for Scotland through his grandfather and last April made an appearance for their B side, scoring in a 3-0 win over Northern Ireland.
