Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has yet to make the crucial decision regarding his goalkeeper for the Carling Cup final.
The Red Devils face Aston Villa at Wembley on Sunday and Edwin van der Sar, Tomasz Kuszczak and Ben Foster are all battling for a place in the starting XI for the showpiece event.
Ferguson's shot-stopping selection proved vitally important last season as Foster was the hero in a penalty shoot-out victory over Tottenham.
Van der Sar is United's first choice, but he has missed two periods in the season due to injury and family matters, giving Kuszczak and Foster, who played against West Ham on Tuesday, opportunities.
"I have three good goalkeepers and I need to choose the right one," said Ferguson.
"I gave Edwin the rest on Tuesday because he has come through quite a tough period with his injury and also his family situation.
"He has not missed a game, including all the midweek ones, so this week was an opportunity to give him a rest.
"Now I have to consider what is the right thing to do on Sunday."
