Everton striker Lukas Jutkiewicz would be happy to extend his time at Motherwell into next season.

Striker not envious of Gosling and Rodwell

Lukas Jutkiewicz would be happy to extend his time at Motherwell after insisting he is not envious of Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell's exploits at Everton. Striker Jutkiewicz is spending the season on loan at Motherwell from Everton and has scored 10 goals in 23 SPL appearances to date. He has made just one substitute's appearance during his Everton career while fellow youngsters Gosling and Rodwell, who both scored in the weekend win over Manchester United, have established themselves in David Moyes' plans. However, Jutkiewicz is happy to see his team-mates making strides at Goodison Park as he focuses on earning another deal at Fir Park.

Ideal

"Gozzy was signed just six months after me and I'm close friends with him and Jack," said Jutkiewicz, who has another year left on his Everton contract, in the Daily Record. "I spoke to both of them after the game against Manchester United and they're really happy. "But I'm just as happy as them. Things happen at different stages for players. They're good players who have been given a chance and taken it. "For me, doing well at Motherwell is just as important because this is my chance to show what I can do. "Seeing them doesn't make me want to go back and try again at Everton. I'm hoping to get away, I think my time is up there. "Davie Moyes has to decide what he wants to do with me, but this loan move was ideal and hopefully someone else will come and take me. "If I could still be here next season it would be great."
