Patrice Evra is confident that Wayne Rooney can fire Manchester United to glory this season.
Rooney bagged a sensational headed brace in United's 3-2 UEFA Champions League clash against AC Milan on Tuesday.
And French star Evra is delighted with how Rooney is emerging this year as a true goalscorer, as he now has 25 goals to his name for the season.
"I am very happy for him because every time he plays, he respects the shirt," Evra told Sky Sports News.
"He is a world-class player and I hope he stays like this because we want to win the second leg and we are also focused on the league.
"Wayne is Wayne Rooney now, he is more mature now, he has learnt a lot and now he wants to score, he has the hunger to score, not just to press the ball but to score and now he is a goalscorer."
