West Brom winger Jerome Thomas is to be suspended for a total of five games following a Football Association hearing.
Thomas was hit with a four-match ban after being shown a straight red card in the 1-0 victory over Plymouth on 6th February, having already been sent off once earlier in the season.
He has so far missed the Championship clash with Scunthorpe and FA Cup draw against Reading.
Thomas had been due to sit out a further two games but his ban has now been extended.
The FA made the ruling when the 26-year-old attended a personal hearing to face a charge of violent conduct for a challenge on Plymouth's David McNamee.
