Striker enjoying loan spell at Leicester

On-loan Leicester City striker Martyn Waghorn says he is happy to wait until the summer before deciding on his long-term future. Waghorn is spending the season on loan at Leicester from Sunderland and has scored six goals in 28 appearances during his time at the Walkers Stadium. Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is known to be an admirer of the precocious talent, but already boasts a wealth of attacking options in the shape of Darren Bent, Kenwyne Jones, Benjani and Fraizer Campbell. To date, Waghorn has made just five first-team appearances for Sunderland, but is in no rush to commit to a permanent move away from the Stadium of Light. "I am not really bothered to be honest," said the 20-year-old. "We will see what happens at Leicester. "I am enjoying my time at Leicester, but I've been at Sunderland since I was a lad. "I love Sunderland as a place and I would be happy to go back, but I would also be happy at Leicester. We will have to see what happens in the summer."
