Peterborough manager Mark Cooper has confirmed that on-loan striker Izale McLeod was dropped at the weekend for disciplinary reasons.
McLeod only moved to London Road from Charlton last month but has fallen foul of new boss Cooper after making just three appearances.
The forward saw a similar loan spell with Millwall cut short 12 months ago after a bust-up with Lions boss Kenny Jackett and could be set for another early return to South London.
Posh were beaten 2-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday and are 11 points from safety ahead of Saturday's home clash with QPR.
Cooper said: "Izale was left out of the squad at Crystal Palace for disciplinary reasons, but further than that I can't comment.
"The reasons will remain in-house."
