Birmingham City youth product Jordan Mutch has agreed a deal to join Championship side Doncaster Rovers on a month's loan.
The 18-year-old, who progressed through the youth ranks at St Andrews, made four appearances during a loan spell with League Two side Hereford back in November.
Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll said: "Jordan will come in and add an extra number to the squad.
"With Simon Gillett going back to Southampton, it looks as if that could flounder, so we need as many good players as we can; and Jordan is a talented 18 year-old.
"We've taken him on a youth loan, which gives flexibility to both clubs and we will see how he develops. He's a talented boy and he looks like he has a big future.
"He did well at Hereford on loan and Birmingham City now want to test him at a higher level. We've got a great reputation with young players and have a good environment for them to come."
