Lincoln City defender Janos Kovacs is discussing a move to Luton Town, while Jamie Clarke has asked to go on the transfer list. Kovacs was put on the transfer list by the Imps last week and the Hungary Under 21 international was linked with a return to his homeland with Ferencvaros. However, he is now holding talks with Luton regarding the opportunity to link up with the Blue Square Premier club. "It is always a shame to see players moving on, especially when they have worked hard for the club over a period of time," Imps chairman Bob Dorrian told the club's official website. "The January transfer window does, however, give players who are not getting regular first-team football an opportunity to find another club and continue to develop their careers." Meanwhile, Clarke's name has been circulated to other clubs after the striker, who joined from Rotherham United last summer, asked to leave.
