Cheltenham Town have announced the loan signing of Matt Thornhill from Nottingham Forest for an initial month.
Robins manager Mark Yates revealed that the arrangement can be extended if all parties can agree on a deal.
Thornhill spent the first half of the season on loan at League One Brighton where he was in and out of the side, making nine appearances in total.
Yates was delighted with his capture and believes that the 21-year-old attacking midfielder will be an excellent addition.
"I'd like to thank Nottingham Forest for letting Matt come to us," he told the club's official website.
"He is a talented young player who we have known for a number of years. He will certainly add something different to the squad and can contribute to the team in a big way.
"Matt has joined us for an initial month's loan with a view to extending it further."
