Brentford boss Andy Scott says he is not 'too confident' about extending the loan of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The Poland youngster has spent the past two months on loan at Griffin Park and has made seven appearances in League One for the Bees.
The last game of his current spell was Saturday's 3-1 win over Carlisle United and he is due to return to Arsenal next week.
Scott is planning talks with the Gunners regarding an extension for Szczesny, but he is unsure if the Premier League title chasers will agree to a deal.
"He's desperate to stay and play games, but we've got to persuade Arsenal and I'm not too confident," said Scott.
The Brentford manager is also looking to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a loan extension for midfielder John Bostock.
