Skjelbred has not been approached by Cottagers

Per Ciljan Skjelbred's agent, Andreas Ekker, has denied reports that the midfielder is set to join Fulham this month. The Rosenborg man has consistently been linked with a move to Newcastle over the past year but rumours have escalated in England over a potential move to Craven Cottage. The 22-year-old has racked up over 100 league appearances for Rosenborg since making his debut in 2004 and many expect the Norway international to be on his way in January. However, Ekker insists he has not received any offers for Skjelbred and that the reports are unfounded. "It is in any case unknown to us and in case it has some truth in it, we would have known it," he told Dagbladet.
