Barnsley have completed the signing of Nathan Doyle from Hull City on a free transfer.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier on Wednesday, Doyle has inked a two-and-a-half-year deal at Oakwell.
Doyle enjoyed a successful loan spell at Barnsley and Tykes boss Mark Robins was more than happy to bring the midfielder back to the club on a permanent basis.
"Nathan did very well for us during his loan spell and we are delighted to have completed a permanent deal to bring him back to the club," Robins told the club's official website.
"This is a deal we have been working on for a while and I am delighted it has come to fruition.
"I am looking forward to working with Nathan and having him back as part of our squad."
