Rasmus Elm's agent has played down speculation that his client could be moving to Blackburn in the January transfer window from AZ Alkmaar.
There has been talk that Rovers boss Sam Allardyce could be preparing to table an offer for the 21-year-old Sweden international.
But Elm's agent Patrick Moerk has described such rumours as 'nonsense', insisting his client is happy at the Dutch champions.
The player, who has also been linked to Everton, Fulham and Manchester City in the past, joined AZ from Kalmar on a four-year deal in August.
Moerk told Fotbollskanalen.se: "Rasmus is enjoying himself excellently in Alkmaar, this is just a rumour.
"Blackburn have been interested in Rasmus for a while, but that they should be ready to table an offer is nonsense.
"They don't have the money to buy him and as I have said before, he does not want to move."
Elm comes from a footballing family, with brothers David and Viktor currently playing for Fulham and Heerenveen respectively.
