O'Driscoll speaking to Gillett, Oster and Fortune

Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll has revealed contract negotiations are ongoing with three players whose deals are set to expire. Simon Gillett is returning to parent club Southampton following an impressive loan spell at the Keepmoat Stadium, but O'Driscoll is still keen to secure him on a permanent basis. Fellow midfielders John Oster and Quinton Fortune signed six-month deals with Rovers in the summer and their current contracts come to an end later in the month. Speaking about the trio, O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "They are all ongoing at the moment. "(In the case of Gillett) We have made an offer and they are considering it. "Quinton is suffering with a back problem at the minute, which requires a scan. "Johnny Oster is at the stage where, again, we have made him an offer. We're just waiting to hear back to see whether it is acceptable or not."
