Stoke City boss Tony Pulis says there is an outside chance Tuncay will be fit to face Burnley this weekend.
The former Middlesbrough striker limped out of their 3-2 win over Fulham in midweek with a hamstring problem.
It had been feared the Turkey international may need a spell in the treatment room, but Pulis has been given an upbeat bulletin on his progress.
After a slow start to life at the Britannia Stadium, the 27-year-old has scored twice in his last six league games, including the opener against Fulham.
"We've had good news on that," reported Pulis on Tuncay.
"He's had a scan and it's not as bad as we thought because we felt there might be a tear.
"There isn't, so we're pleased and he has an outside chance of being fit."
