Former skipper seeks Gresty Road exit

Crewe boss Dario Gradi admits the future of Billy Jones could be in doubt after the club's former captain stated that he wanted to leave. The full-back's current deal is due to expire this summer and Gradi is now open to listening to offers for the player, although he is in no rush to get a quick sale. He told the club's official website: "Billy has made it known that he doesn't want to stay beyond the end of the season and we would sell him in January if we can get the money back we spent on him. "If we cannot find a buyer then he will leave in the summer on a free transfer. "I'm in no particular rush to let him leave as he has been on the bench for most of the games I've been in charge and he could prove useful. "We'll have to see what happens and if he can sort himself out."
