Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra insists he has no plans to leave the club during this month's transfer window.

Bougherra's future at Ibrox has been the subject of constant speculation with the big defender incurring the wrath of Walter Smith on more than one occasion this season for failing to return from international duty on time.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move back to England, and although Bougherra admits he would like to return to the Premier League one day, he has pledged his immediate future to the Scottish giants.

"My future is the same, I stay at Rangers," Bougherra told Sky Sports News.

"I have two years on my contract left after this season and I am very happy.

"Every game I play I enjoy and I want to stay 200 per cent."

The former Charlton man concedes his dream is return to England one day.

"All people love the (English) Premier League and my priority is to come back to the Premier League one day. This is my objective," added Bougherra

"When I don't know, but one time yes."
