Wolves have allowed Jason Shackell to extend his loan deal at Doncaster until the end of the season.
However, Wanderers have inserted a clause into the deal allowing them to recall Shackell if another club wants to buy him or he wants to leave.
Shackell, who has formed a solid partnership with James O'Connor at the heart of the Rovers defence, is available for Saturday's FA Cup clash against Brentford.
The news is a boost for Rovers chief Sean O'Driscoll as they look to maintain their recent fine run of form.
