Clough moves to secure on-loan striker

Derby County have confirmed they have extended the loan spell of Leicester City striker DJ Campbell for another month. The 28-year-old's initial loan expired following Monday's goalless draw with Newcastle, a game in which he started. Campbell, who has scored one goal in six Championship appearances for the Rams, will now stay until the back end of January. Although the former non-league striker is unable to feature in Derby's upcoming FA Cup clash at Millwall, manager Nigel Clough is delighted he is staying on. "We are pleased DJ has agreed to stay, he has done a good job for us over the past month and has injected some pace into our frontline," Clough told his club's official website.
