Coventry City boss Chris Coleman is hoping to extend the loan deals of Chelsea duo Jack Cork and Patrick van Aanholt.
The youngsters have featured prominently since joining the Sky Blues at the start of the season and Coleman wants the pair to stay.
He has spoken to Chelsea's sporting director Frank Arnesen about extending the deals until the end of the season and is awaiting a response from the Premier League leaders.
With the transfer window reopening next week, Coleman is keen to find out if Van Aanholt and Cork will be allowed to stay at the Ricoh Arena.
"We obviously want both players to stay and I've touched on it with Frank Arnesen," said Coleman in the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
"We've not come to any agreement yet, but it's something we'd like to put to bed."
