Burnley right-back Tyrone Mears is relishing playing regularly as he bids to help keep the Clarets in the top flight this season.
The 26-year-old believes he is showing good form and consistency as he has played every game in the Premier League since his summer switch to Turf Moor.
He failed to nail down a regular slot at previous clubs Derby and West Ham and believes the opportunities he is receiving at Burnley is now helping him realise his potential.
He is also determined to help the team fire up the league during the busy festive programme.
Mears said: "The one thing that has caused me to stumble over the past few years was not playing regularly. It stalled the potential I had as a young player.
"I believe I am showing good form and consistency. That is because I am playing every game - there is nothing better than that.
"There is a lot of matches between now and January and I will relish every one of them.
"It is important we pick up points along the way and stay on the right side of the table."
