Skysports.com understands Doncaster Rovers are planning an ambitious move for Hull striker Daniel Cousin.
Cousin is well down the pecking order at Hull and the club are believed to be willing to offload the former Rangers man.
Doncaster are thought to have sounded out a move for the Gabon international and are in talks with Hull about a surprise swoop for the striker.
Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll is understood to be keen to pair Cousin in a strike partnership with top scorer Billy Sharp.
Doncaster are just five points outside the play-off positions and O'Driscoll sees Cousin as the man who could help fire their promotion bid.
