Dean Morgan is hoping to continue to impress for MK Dons as he bids to earn a new contract with the League One club.
The striker initially joined Paul Ince's side on a non-contract basis in September before signing a deal which is due to expire on Christmas Day.
He has made four substitute appearances to date and scored his first goal for the club in Saturday's 2-1 win at Leyton Orient.
Morgan spent last season on loan at Orient and was happy to respond to jeers from the home fans by scoring his current club's equaliser.
"I'm trying to impress all the time," said Morgan. "Every day I'm first in and last out, and hopefully I can get more opportunities to produce.
"The Orient fans were always going to boo me, they don't know the circumstances from when I was here last season.
"That just made it sweeter to get the goal."
