Peterborough defender Craig Morgan has revealed he came close to joining Notts County last month.
Ambitious League Two outfit County tried to sign the Wales international before the close of the loan window, but the move fell through at the last minute and he has instead started the last two matches for Posh.
Morgan was a first choice starter under Darren Ferguson, but fell out of favour following the arrival of new boss Mark Cooper.
However, the 24-year-old, who has 18 months to run on his contract at London Road, insists he remains committed to Peterborough.
"I've got 18 months left on my contract and I'm settled in Peterborough and want to play Championship football," Morgan told Radio Cambridgeshire.
"I went to Notts County and was as good as gone at one point, but then I came back and I'll always give my all."
