Leon Barnett has opened the door to a permanent switch to Coventry during the January transfer window.
The defender is currently on loan at the Ricoh Arena from Championship rivals West Brom, but has struggled to make an impact at the Baggies.
The 24-year-old moved to the Hawthorns in 2007 but has slipped steadily down the pecking order since then.
With opportunities proving hard to come by this season, he opted to join Coventry on a short-term deal in November.
Barnett admits he has thoroughly enjoyed his time with the Sky Blues and has hinted that he would be willing to pen full-time terms should an agreement be struck with West Brom in the New Year.
"I don't know what's going on at the moment," he told the Coventry Telegraph.
"I am just going to keep playing until my loan ends.
"I am enjoying myself and loving the boys and loving the club, but it is not really down to me at the moment. It is down to the two clubs to negotiate a fee if it is possible."
