Andrea Dossena's agent says the Liverpool left-back has not yet decided whether he wants to leave Liverpool.
The Italian was brought to Anfield for £7million in the summer of 2008 but has seldom figured in Rafa Benitez's first-team plans.
But according to his agent, Federico Pastorello, Dossena will be handed a rare opportunity in Wednesday's Champions League dead rubber against Fiorentina.
The 28-year-old's representative had previously hinted that he will be leaving Merseyside in January but Pastorello now insists a decision has not yet been made.
"Tonight against Fiorentina, Dossena will make his 30th appearance for Liverpool," the agent told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"From now until January, we will see if Andrea finds some continuity and then we'll decide what to do, in agreement with Benitez and the club."
Serie A sides Napoli and Roma have reportedly targeted the former Udinese defender, with Pastorello hinting that his client would welcome an approach from the latter.
He added: "Interest from Roma? Knowing that a coach like (Claudio) Ranieri appreciates him is nice."
