Skysports.com understands Aldershot rejected two bids from Championship clubs for Marvin Morgan on loan deadline day.
Championship pair Peterborough and Queens Park Rangers are both believed to have made enquiries last month.
Morgan has enjoyed a fine season to date for Aldershot, scoring nine goals so far this term, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
Peterborough were keen on bringing a new striker before the close of the transfer window and were also linked with moves for Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre and Crewe's Calvin Zola.
QPR are also thought to have enquired about Morgan's availability as Jim Magilton looks to add to his attacking options at Loftus Road.
Aldershot rejected the overtures of the pair as they are keen to keep hold of the giant front-man as they aim to mount a bid for promotion.
