Hamstring injury curtails defender's availability

Everton will be without defender Joseph Yobo for their Europa League clash with AEK Athens on Wednesday. The Nigeria international limped out of Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Merseyside rivals Liverpool with a hamstring strain. Yobo left the field late on to be replaced by Lucas Neill and will not be risked by David Moyes in Greece. It remains to be seen whether the 29-year-old will have recovered sufficiently to face Tottenham this weekend at Goodison Park. Moyes is boosted by the availability of Jack Rodwell, who missed Sunday's defeat after damaging his groin in the 3-2 loss to Hull City.
