Diego Perotti's agent has played down speculation that he could be on his way to Real Madrid.
Indeed the Sevilla winger looks set to extend his contract with his current employers.
The Argentina international joined Sevilla in 2007, but it is only this year that has he claimed a regular starting spot.
His form this season has seen Real show an interest in luring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I know that Diego is a player that Real Madrid like very much but we haven't had any official proposal," said his agent Alvaro Torres.
"In addition, I think that Diego is nearer to extending his contract at Sevilla rather than being transferred to another team.
"Diego is very happy at Sevilla as he is growing up as a player.
"And he will always be very thankful to this club for all what they have done for him. For all this talk he wants to stay at Sevilla."
