Udinese are adamant that midfielder Gokhan Inler will not be leaving the Stadio Friuli in January.
The Switzerland international's future has been the subject of speculation for some time and Arsenal are among the clubs to have been linked with him in the past.
Udinese general director Sergio Gasparin can understand why he is attracting so much attention but has ruled out a January departure.
Inler is contracted to Udinese until 2012 and Gasparin has no intention of letting one of his best players move on.
He told Radio Kiss Kiss: "Inler is a great player and it's logical that many clubs are interested in him.
"Gokhan is also an exceptional person.
"Our position is that of giving continuity to our technical project, hence, we do not want to enter talks to discuss Inler's eventual departure."
