Mancini's agent has played down reports linking the Inter Milan winger with a return to Roma.
The Brazilian left the Stadio Olimpico to join Inter in the summer of 2008 but he has never fully established himself as a regular in Jose Mourinho's side.
He has fallen further down the pecking order since the start of this season, making just three league appearances.
Reports have suggested Mancini could move back to Roma when the transfer window reopens but his representative, Gilmar Veloz, does not believe that is likely to happen.
Veloz says there have been no negotiations with Roma and expects Mancini to stay at Inter and fight for a place.
He said: "We have not spoken to Roma. There has been no contact whatsoever.
"Amantino has a contract with Inter and is a Nerazzurri player.
"The fact that he is not playing much is not a problem for the lad.
"I reiterate that he is under contract with Inter and it is them who have to decide."
The 29-year-old is under contract with Inter until June 2012.
