Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba insists he has hope of making Fabio Capello's 23-man England squad for the World Cup.
The 21-year-old has seen a number of fellow Under-21 internationals win call-ups to the senior set-up and is hoping he can follow suit.
The likes of the likes of James Milner, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Joe Hart and Tom Huddlestone have all been given chances by Fabio Capello and Muamba says that has strengthened his resolve.
"I never get jealous of the boys who have stepped up to the full set-up," insisted Muamba. "They have done extremely well to get up there.
"It just goes to show that if you are playing well, Mr Capello is willing to give everybody a chance and it's great they've done that.
"We all see how well the likes of Milner, Agbonlahor, Joe Hart and Tom Huddlestone have done and it shows we've all got a chance."
