Winger rewarded with contract extension

Reading winger James Henry has signed a new deal to keep him at the Madejski Stadium until 2011. The 20-year-old has been on the fringes of the Reading side for the past two years and is currently enjoying a second loan spell with League One side Millwall, where he has scored four goals in five starts. Henry's previous deal was due to expire in the summer and the club have moved to tie him down for a further 12 months. Royals director of football Nick Hammond believes Henry has an exciting future ahead of him. "James is an exciting player who is still very young," Hammond told the club's official website. "He is continuing his football education at Millwall and is a player we have high hopes for in the future."
